Peacocks and Flowers

Here is a photo of a 6.75 ounce skein of soft merino yarn that I hand-painted today in the "Peacock" colorway:

It is absolutely gorgeous, and I have 2 of them that I'll add to the shop later today! The second one is slightly smaller-6.5ounces, but that's still a lot of yarn- between 190 to 200 yards of bulky weight merino.

Here is a swatch of a single ply of the "Peacock" colorway roving plied with a single of the "Heather" colorway roving:

I've also been carding. This is a pic of some "Monet's Garden" colorway roving that I carded today:

More pretty yarn. :) I think I fixed the problem of the comments on my blog. I don't know what happened and it took me forever to try and figure it out. :P

It's me again. Just saw your question about needle size on Flickr. I'm using 6US and I'm thinking maybe I should have gone up a size to 7 but it's too late now. :P
